Tin is a soft metal and has a low melting point (231.9℃). It is used for decoration, rust prevention, and enhancement of electrical conductivity and soldering. Tin is a silver-coloured, ductile metal whose major purpose to promote solderability to otherwise unsolderable base metals. Tin has generally good depositing characteristics over a wide range of part geometry.

Tin plating process is applied extensively to protect both ferrous and non-ferrous substrates. Tin protects the base metal from oxidation and preserves its solderability properties ideal for the electronic industry. We have dull Sn plating.
