Ni plating is common because it offers superior chemical and corrosion resistance along with greater wear resistance, which increases product lifecycles. Nickel is a metal belonging to the same group as iron and less oxidized than iron, and is known as a ferromagnetic metal. In addition, hardness, flexibility, and colour are often preferred as plating films.
In addition to improving rust prevention performance and wear resistance, it is also used for purpose of diffusion prevention layer and it can be plated with good adhesion on various substrates, which is important as a base plating. We have both Nickel plating and dull Nickel plating.
